Free Recycle Week – June 18-21, 2025
Montgomery County Commissioner Precinct 3 is pleased to announce an extended Free Recycle Week for residents, taking place Wednesday through Saturday, June 18–21, 2025, from 8 AM to 3 PM daily at the Recycling Center, 1122 Pruitt Road, Spring, TX 77380.
This year’s event spans four days, offering more flexibility and convenience for residents to safely dispose of eligible household items. Please review the guidelines below and refer to the maps for traffic flow and designated drop-off locations.
Items Accepted Free of Charge:
- Paint & Chemicals – up to 40 gallons per vehicle (accepted Wednesday & Saturday only)
- Electronics – no limit (accepted all week)
- Tires – up to 12 tires per vehicle (accepted all week)
- Fluorescent Bulbs – no limit (accepted all week)
- Paper Shredding – limit of 4 file boxes (accepted Friday only)
Important Notes:
- This is a drive-through only event. Please remain in your vehicle at all times.
- Proof of Montgomery County residency is required.
- Containers will not be returned.
- No business or commercial materials will be accepted.
- Landfill material still requires a disposal fee and is not included in this event.
