Cathy Brady Ballroom

Cathy Brady grew up in The Woodlands, where her parents were among the early residents. She loved exploring the trails on her bike and always felt part of a welcoming community.

After earning her degree, Cathy became VP at Texas Commerce/Chase Bank–The Woodlands, where she met her future husband, the Honorable Kevin Brady. At 39, she retired to focus on her sons, Will and Sean, while continuing her deep community involvement.

Cathy served on The Woodlands Community Association and Grogan’s Mill Village Association, launched the Yard of the Month award, and helped organize many early events like Arbor Day, the Farmers Market, and the Fourth of July Festival. She was also a founding director of The Woodlands Children’s Museum and active with United Way and PACN.
