Dr. Edmund Robb III Meeting Room

Dr. Ed Robb III is the founding pastor of The Woodlands Methodist Church, established in 1978 and now the largest congregation in the Global Methodist Church. After retiring in 2021, he became Pastor Emeritus, continuing to teach and preach.

A longtime civic leader, Dr. Robb chaired The Woodlands Township and helped guide major projects like the Ice Rink, Convention Center, Waterway, and Town Green Park. He also serves on the Houston Methodist Hospital board and chairs A Foundation for Theological Education.

A resident since 1978, Dr. Robb has served on numerous local boards. He and his wife, Beverley, have three children and eight grandchildren.
